The legislative act determines bodies that are authorized to consider cases on administrative infringement in the event that requirements regarding placement, equipment and functioning of transport vehicles parking areas are violated (administrative commissions at the executive committees of village, township and city councils, as well as executive committees of village, township and city councils).
The Law supplements the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements with article 1521 “Violation of transport vehicles parking rules”.
The law also distinguishes powers of local self-government bodies and the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine by making amendments to the laws “On Local Self-Government if Ukraine” and “On Road Traffic”.
